It all began with a family, an idea and a love for coffee

In 2017, an energetic, enthusiastic and lively couple purchased what was once a hole in the wall, single location, simple yet timeless cafe. Fast forward 6 years, 2 kids, 80 employees and 8 Sherwood locations later, we meet Emily and Danny, the same enthusiastic and lively couple (though truthfully slightly less energetic and a little more tired).

Having come from experience running a business, working in the industry and being self proclaimed coffee addicts (aren’t we all), these two took Sherwood and transformed it into what it is today. The way these guys look at things is without limits and they are a testimate that when you work hard and believe in what you’re doing, the community will respond.

To be honest, they can’t. The Sherwood family has grown just as fast as the business. We now have a family of over 80 staff who help in all areas. The fun part of our jobs is that there’s never two days that look the same. You could be in the cafe at one location, then in the kitchen at a different location the next. FAQs

  • Each of our locations have slightly different trading hours. To find the hours for a specific store, select stores from the menu bar.

  • We do not offer reservations at our locations. This is because we see a fast turn over of tables so should there not be one avaialble when you arrive, it’s usually not too long of a wait until one becomes free.

  • There sure is!! Sherwoods’ Brew Crew is our online loyalty system. Sign up, order through the app or at our table ordering and earn points on every order OR order through our in store kiosks and earn yourself a little saving everytime you visit

  • In short ABSOLUTLEY.

    We do ask though that your cup be sparkling clean and that you hold onto your lid whilst we whip up your order.

  • Sherwood is pet friendly and we have our own customised ‘Sherwoof’ water bowls to keep your fury friends hydrated. We do ask though that you sit outside or nearest to an exit incase your little one needs to go potty.

  • You sure can!! Jump online with UberEats, MenuLog and DoorDash to place an order for delivery.

  • While not a franchise, Sherwood is always open to partnering with like minded management and staff

  • We have physical gift cards available for purchase in store that can be used across all of our locations. Digital gift cards are not available at this time.
